February 9 is a glorious and wonderful day not only in the literary environment of Uzbekistan but throughout the world. On this day, our great poet Alisher Navoi was born. Every year on this day they remember, listen to his works. He entered the world like a torch.

This year, this date was organized in the "Alley of the Wise Men" a special ceremony. The event which was organized by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and the Department for the Development of the State Language of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was attended by figures, literary critics, admirers of Navoi's work from Afghanistan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Azerbaijan and other countries. The speeches of the participants gave the audience good spirits, charged them with a sense of pride for the great ancestor.

At the end of the event, the leadership and staff of the State Test Center, together with representatives of ministries and departments, laid wreaths at the foot of the monument to Hazrat Mir Alisher Navoi and honored his memory.
