About applicants scoring 189 points and recommended on a paid-contract basis

According to the Regulation of the procedure for awarding students of academic lyceums, vocational schools and secondary schools, winning international and national Olympiads, competitions, and contests, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 226 of October 13, 2008:

  • Graduates of academic lyceums, vocational educational institutions and secondary schools who have won individual types of republican (1st place) and international competitions (1-3rd places at the Olympic Games, Asian Games, World Championships and Asian Championships) are admitted to higher education institution without tests and additional exams.
  • The winners of republican (1st place) and international competitions (1-3rd places in the Olympic Games, Asian Games, World Championships and Asian Championships) determine three candidates from their teams - graduates of academic lyceums, vocational colleges and secondary schools who are accepted into a higher educational institution without tests and additional exams.

Applicants with this privilege are admitted on the basis of general admission parameters, they are not allocated additional admission parameters.

This year's final selection list includes applicants who have been recommended for a paid-contract basis with a maximum of 189 points in some undergraduate majors.

Applicants with the above-mentioned privileges are also registered in these fields of study, and there are cases when the number of applicants in this category is equal to or greater than the number of allocated state grants.

Therefore, applicants with a score of 189 in some undergraduate majors are also recommended on a paid-contract basis.
