State Test Center is working to simplify test tasks and create conveniences for applicants.

In particular, it is planned to make the following changes in the entrance exams for the bachelor's degree in higher education institutions for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Simplifying test assignments:

Simplified tests do not mean that only simple tests are used in undergraduate entrance exams.

Tests in general education subjects are formed in 3 levels of difficulty. The first level of difficulty includes the easiest test assignments.

In previous years, tests consisted of up to 6 first-level items in each subject. This year, the number of first-level test items in each subject will increase to an average of 10.

Increase the number of test items in the form of outline maps, tables, pictures:

This year, in order for applicants to think logically and quickly understand the test assignments, pictorial tests are being formed in foreign languages (English, German, French), as well as in history and geography. There is also an increase in the number of pictorial tests in biology and chemistry.

Simplification of test tasks in mother tongue and literature:

There is an increase in number of test items based on literary works recommended for independent study on the mother tongue (Uzbek, Russian, Karakalpak) and literature. Test items based on texts are also being developed to help applicants develop logical thinking. Such tests require the test taker to determine if the words in the text are used correctly and the sentences are formed correctly, to find the meanings of the words in the text, and to understand the main content of the text.

Increase in the number of theoretical assignments in chemistry and physics:

The number of theoretical tests in chemistry is being increased, and laboratory tests are being developed.

With the increase in the number of theoretical tests in physics, the number of tests of the first level of difficulty is increased from 6 to 10. Also, for the convenience of applicants, "Table of constant physical quantities" has been developed, which will be provided to applicants during the test, along with "Periodic table of chemical elements".
