The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 696 of November 19, 2021, approved the Regulation "On the procedure for calculating the average grade of graduates of educational institutions and its consideration in the entrance examinations to higher education institutions."
According to it, the average score of the last 6 years of compulsory 11-year education is taken into account in the entrance exams to higher education institutions.
Grades are calculated through electronic platforms of educational institutions and transferred to the program "ABITUR" of State Test Center.
The grade point average is calculated by dividing the total annual grades into grades 6-11 or grades 6-9 and grades 1-2 by the subjects taught.
The maximum score in the rating system is taken as 100 percent and the scores are converted to the rating system as follows:
This procedure will be implemented in the 2022-2023 academic year.
