Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 16, 2022 No. 73 approved the "Administrative regulation for the provision of public services to determine the level of foreign language proficiency."
In accordance with it, from March 1, 2022:
˗ Applications for participation in the test to determine the level of knowledge of a foreign language, to obtain a certificate of competency or a certificate are accepted through YIDXP (my.gov.uz);
˗ Requiring the applicant to provide a 3.5 x 4.5 cm photograph and a copy of the document confirming payment for public service will be abolished;
˗ Exam dates will be announced on the official DTM website and the applicant will be given the right to independently choose the exam day;
˗ The period for announcing test results will be reduced from 3 to 1 week;
˗ Qualification certificate or reference is sent to the applicant within 1 working day from the date of announcement of the result through the YIDXP.
For each current level (A2, B1, B2, C1), in addition to a separate examination procedure, a generalized Multi-level test system (B1, B2, C1) will be introduced.
The multi-level test system will be introduced on March 1, 2022 - for English, and from November 1, 2022 - for German, French and Arabic.
Applicants will be notified of the place and exact time of the qualifying exam 3 days before the exam date.
The level of knowledge of a foreign language is determined by a test, an assessment of written and spoken skills, and consists of sections on listening comprehension, reading, writing and speaking.
The regulation comes into force on March 1, 2022.
