On January 6, 2020, at State Test Center held was a meeting of experts on general educational subjects and working group for optimization of test items on subjects recommended to be included in the exams for admission to higher educational institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was organized to enforce the resolution of the meeting of State Commission for admission to higher educational institutions on December 19, 2019.

The meeting was attended by qualified specialists of public, secondary specialized and higher education systems, whose list was approved with the resolution of State Commission meeting. The meeting focused on the issues of creating item bank and identified the important tasks for the experts. In particular, special attention was paid for the full coverage of the syllabus of general education curricula when forming test tasks, quality of test items, as well as, ensuring that their content is the same across languages ​​(Uzbek, Karakalpak, Russian).
