On May 14, 2023, the National Certificate exams for the Mother tongue (Uzbek, Russian, Karakalpak) and Literature were held.

Exams were organized in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city for the convenience of applicants.

6,479 candidates participated and 5 candidates were excluded from the test due to violation of the procedure.

The test results will be announced within twenty working days, and applicants who have scored at least 60% of the highest score will receive an Electronic Certificate.

Applicants with a certificate are given the following points for admission to HEIs in the field of specialization:

- from 60% to 86% — graded (proportional) score compared to the maximum score;

- 86 per cent and above - the maximum score.

Also, an applicant with a National Certificate will be given the highest score in the relevant compulsory subject.
