A memorandum was signed between the State Test Center and Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan

In recent years, the State Test Center has been developing cooperation with related organizations of foreign countries. Cooperation with East Asia, Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States is leading in this direction.

In particular, it should be noted that the work with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan is expanding. In previous years, a delegation from the State Test Center visited the country and exchanged experiences with them. In the current pandemic, such meetings are now available online.

On November 23, 2021, at a regular online meeting between the State Testing Center and the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the leaders of both sides recognized the unity of the historical path, historical integrity, centuries-old cultural, educational, literary life of our peoples. During the event, both centers exchanged experiences, discussed measures to strengthen ties, ensure the continuity of meetings, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two organizations.

The State Test Center and the State Examination Center of Azerbaijan agreed to cooperate in important areas by signing a memorandum. Based on the areas of activity, the Memorandum provides for the following cooperation objectives:

  •    Development of test system;
  •    Improving the skills of evuluators and developing evaluation criteria;
  •    Evaluation criteria (local and international test programs);
  •    IT infrastructure and information security in the test system;
  •    Research papers and scientific publications;
  •    Admission and selection;
  •    National reforms to improve curriculum, textbooks and assessment.

While acknowledging the similarity of powers and activities, it was noted that the use of effective forms and methods of cooperation and regular research in the field will serve to improve the work of both centers.
