State Test Center held a meeting dedicated to Presidential Speech.

The meeting was attended by State Test Center authority and personnel. During the event, it was noted that the Speech, along with its importance and relevance, also identified the priorities and tasks for the development of 2020 and the next 5 years, taking into account the great challenges and opportunities our country and people are facing.

The speakers highlighted the great work that has been done and is still being done in the field of higher education, such as increasing the coverage of school graduates into higher education by at least 25% by 2020 and 50-60% in the future, increasing government grants two-fold, allocation of separate grants for female applicants, optimization of entrance examinations to higher education institutions.

Furthermore, it was recognized as a significant step to optimize the higher education standards based on international experience, revision of educational areas and subjects, reduction of the number of disciplines unrelated to the specialty by 2 times, transfer of higher education to the credit-module system.
