On July 3, 2023, the President's decree No. PF-107 "On making changes and additions to some documents of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as considering some of them as invalid" was accepted.

With this decree, the President's decree No. PF-6108 of November 6, 2020 "On measures to develop the fields of education and science in the period of new development of Uzbekistan" was amended.

According to it, taking into account the average of the last 6 years of compulsory 11-year education in the entrance exams to the higher education institution was delayed for 2 years.

Therefore, this year, the grades of the last 6 years of compulsory 11-year education are not taken into account in the entrance exams to higher education institutions.
