On February 1, 2021, the project of resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the procedure for recognizing the ratings of graduates of general education, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions during entrance exams to higher educational institutions" was introduced to the discussion.
According to it:
Starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, the indicator of the average rating of the last 6 years of compulsory 11-year education, according to the certificate (diploma transcript), of graduates of general secondary, secondary special education institutions and vocational schools is calculated and this figure will be recognized in the entrance examinations to the higher education institution from the 2023-2024 academic year.
In calculating the average grade point of general secondary school graduates, the ratio of the total annual grade of a graduate in grades 6-11 to the total number of subjects studied in each grade is obtained.
After the completion of the process of entrance examinations to higher education institutions by the State Test Center, within the specified period, before the selection, the average scores of graduates (applicants) are entered by the relevant educational institutions on the test scores of applicants and then the selection is made.
A graduate (applicant) cannot participate in the competition within the allotted quota if he/she scores less than 30% of the maximum possible score during the test.
