On December 21, 2022, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation approved and announced the list of undergraduate education courses for the 2023-2024 academic year and the set of subjects for which the corresponding test will be given. In it, jurisprudence is defined as the 1st specialization subject for the "Jurisprudence" field of study.
On October 28, 2022, the Knowledge Assessment Agency published a list of recommended textbooks and educational literature for applicants to prepare for the tests. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also included in the list of recommended textbooks for legal sciences, which stipulates that in case of amendments to the legislative documents, the original source of the legislation should be referred to.
It is known that according to the results of the referendum held on April 30, 2023, the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" No. ORQ-837 was adopted.
For this reason, on May 22-23, 2023, a meeting was held with the participation of experts in legal studies recommended by the Ministries of Preschool and School Education and Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
It discussed the issue of forming test tasks in the subject of jurisprudence, and it was considered appropriate to form test tasks based on the current legislative documents, including the new version of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, taking into account the changes made to the legislative documents within the framework of the topics included in the educational programs.
For this reason, we inform you that applicants who wish to enter the "Jurisprudence" field of study should prepare for the tests on the basis of the current legal documents, including the new version of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
